well, played it, finished the beta and didn't die once. it's too early to judge the game based on limited beta experience. i will say that it seems more linear in that it unlocks skills for you, unlike the previous where there was a skill tree and you could pick your route. this, in my opinion is a major downfall.

the graphics are nice, i do not have a qualm about them. the sound effects are a great improvement, they've done well to add to the dark depth of the game with teh audio.

i do not like the fact that there is no party option. if you (so far in beta) join a game, you are auto partied. you cannot hostile (may change release?) it seems to be a lot friendlier of a game which i suppose the masses were hoping for, but, i thrived on the maliciousness of the old way. it added so much depth...

so far i've only played the wizard class which was decent. the skills in this class were enjoyable, and if I were to solo it all i do think i could beat it easily. this is the only class i've played so far.

i hope the final release still allows people to make their own channels. there is so much missing from the last d2 in this one that so far i really am not feeling diablo 3... surely i shall buy it but if it doesn't cater to the dedicated old school crowd, then i think i can comfortably say i'm done with the diablo franchise.

yeah but like i said it's beta so... i will buy the game and update my opinion when it's released. so far though, it's fucking lame. it's just too little of a taste to really give a final judgement, though.

i do strongly hope they will allow for PK in public games. that is one big concept that kept the game alive. it allowed people to group together to fend off the PKers; there were channels dedicated to lvling people; [-op war] (minus the [])i was a part of the inception of that channel.

hardcore has not been introduced in beta as of yet but from what i understand it WILL be a thing, and for that i hope it will and i hope we can still make channels etc as that will allow me to find all my old friends and others on here that want to become a titan group of players. i really REALLY hope it's similar to d2 but with more stringent rules for hacking and such.

i think i have way too much faith in blizz...

Idk if you need a new comp unless yours really sucks, the specs are really nothing special, Blizzard wanted to make it accessible.
