Aww that is so cool, another Hercules and Xena fan, those shows rocked. I actually have all of the seasons of Hercules and Xena on DVD...and I keep watch them over and over again, I can't help myself, I LOVE THOSE SHOWS! I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. Do you watch them anymore fenderbender?

Awesome Snowmayne, yet another Hercules and Xena fan...I'm loving this. Those two shows were some of the greatest shows ever made in my opinion. Like I said before, I love the shows that are based back in the Roman times...I don't know why I have such a thing for that time period? Also, lately I've seen a bunch of the old Hercules movies on...just in case you're interested in giving them a watch, you know those five movies they made before the series began.
I remember reading about how Kevin Sorbo was planing on going to New Zeland for just 6 months to film the five short Hercules movies, and ended up staying there for 6-7 years. I guess those five movies got so popular that the fans demanded more...and boy did we ever get what we wanted huh.

I've seen True Blood a couple of times myself, and it looks like a really good show. Those vampire shows are very cool. I guess after the Twilight movies hit the seen and all these producers, writers, and directers saw how popular those movies got they all desided to jump on the band waggon and make some money off all the fans obsessions. I mean, you can't tell me that all these shows about vampires and wherewolfs that just happen to come out right after the very successful Twlight movies were all a meer coincidance...

I'd like to watch True Blood on a regular basis, but unfortunately we don't get HBO anymore, so it proves very difficult for me...actually impossible.

oh no doubt true blood is like the adult version of twilight but its cool cuz twilight is fucking gay and true blood features scenes like this:

and this

the show is extremely cheesy and camp but i really like that part of it to be honest.

also the books that the show is based on actually came out 4 years before twilight. so its a cash in on a fad but the source material is actually pretty decent and original.

ALRIGHT!!! Definitly give it a watch RIGHT NOW!!! I can't tell you how cool that show is. Sinse you haven't seen it in a while it'll probably be all new to you. Just wait until you see that show again. I must of watched all the episodes 10 times a piece, and they're still not boring me...just goes to show you what a great show it is. I've always found shows that were made back in the 80's-90's to be very cool. Mainly because they didn't have the scientific technology they do now...so they had to use their imaginations and what little rescources they had to make a show good. It seemed to make a show last was alot more of a challenge back then.

I wished Hercules and Xena were never cancled. Actually what's funny is that the writers, producers, and directers wanted to do another season of Hercules, but Kevin Sorbo said that he'd had enough. Sorbo wanted to pursue a movie career, but was having to turn down movie roles because of Hercules. Not to long after Hercules ended though he scored the lead in Andromeda...and I guess he desided to stay with tv instead of pursuing movies.

In my opinion I would've never left Hercules. I don't know why all these actors want to break into the movie business instead of just sticking with a great tv show...and a steady pay-check. They're risking alot if you ask me by going off and trying to become a movie star, and half the time when they do leave their tv show you never hear about them again. What's up with some tv actors?

Xena wasn't cancelled, neither was Hercules. The leads just wanted to move on.

Well then, looks like I stand corrected Waves. I thought (which was my first mistake) that the Twilight books were all written before True Blood came out. I had no idea that True Blood was based off of books that were written long before the Twilight books were...thanks for telling me that before I made a further fool of myself. I wonder what started this whole vampire and wherewolf fad? I mean, vampires and wherewolves are cool and all, but man, some people really are obsessed with that stuff.

True Blood does look like a very very cool show though. Like I said, I've seen a few episodes here and there and they've always been awesome. Those two scenes you posted though, WOW, yeah, I'm definitly a "True" fan now. I especially loved those first scenes you posted...THAT GIRL WAS FINE!!! The second scene rocked balls too, but I'm afraid that it was definily overshadowed by the first.

Ohh, thanks for the info Terry. I still wonder why they desided to move on? Why not just stick with a good show? When the stars desided to leave, the shows were still doing great right...why didn't they just stay on board? I mean, they're still holding conventions for those shows to this day...at least from what I've heard.

If you like Herc and Xena check out the show that the creator of both went on to do...

Legend of the Seeker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Its based on a series of books that are okay, i read a few when i was young and they are better for young adults than for adults id say. but they are pretty intriguing plot wise and the show is really similar to herc and xena, youd probably love it.

The wizard character in the books is one of the more fun wizard archetypes ive come across...hes more like an acid tripping hippy than he is a wise old scruffy guy. pretty cool series.

Thanks Waves, I'll be sure to check Legend Of The Seeker. If it's anything like Hercules or Xena then I'm sure I'll love it. I appreciate you sharing that with me bud.

Have you ever seen Spartacus? It's a really cool show based around gladiaters, and the way the world was back in the Roman time. It actually has Lucy Lawless (who played Xena) in it, she's one of the main stars. There's alot of people who used to work on Xena and Hercules who now work on Spartacus. If you've never watched it before I would highly recommend giving it a watch...if you're into those kind of shows. Spartacus is also cool because unlike Xena or Hercules this show doesn't pull any punches...it shows exactly the way it was back in that time. With fighting, slaves, sex, rape, Spartacus shows exactly the way certain people were treated back then...it's kind of hard watching sometimes. The storyline is great though, it's about this man named Spartacus who is trying to seek revenge on the man who had his wife killed...unfortunate ly this proves difficult because he's a slave trying to earn his freedom by fighting as a Gladiater.
Check it out sometime...if you want.

Has anyone on here ever seen Shipping Wars? It's an awesome TV show about these people who make a living by shipping very unusual, oversized, or fragile things across the country. They all have to place bids on things that other people post on this shipping website, and the shipper that bids the lowest (that's right, I said the lowest, this shipping website is like the reverse of e-bay) gets the shipment. I got hooked a while ago, and haven't missed an episode yet. If you haven't seen this show before you should definitly give it a watch...it comes on A&E if anybody is interested.

If anybody else has seen Shipping Wars then tell me what you think of it?

/\/\/\/\ Definitely a cool show. If I still worked, I wouldn't mind doing that. Travel & get paid decent $$$, if you know how to bid right.

You're right about that dad, you definitly would have to know how to bid right. WOW, did I just say you were right about something, I've got to be high on something. Did you slip something into my drink at dinner tonight because that's the only way I would've uttered something as ridiculous as that?

Man, you think I said the word "something" enough times in that last paragraph? That would be so cool if you and I could do that kind of shipping work together.

My favorite dude on that Shipping Wars show would have to be that 'Big Rig' Marc. I love him because of the shipments he can hall with that big rig truck of his. I saw one were he halled two freakin army tanks...now that's impressive. He's definitly the most professional out of all the shippers.
