Upgrading windows

So last time i had windows 7 i got a virus and didnt have any recovery disks so just loaded xp on to my pc. Ive poked around torrent sites for win 7/8 but the comments always say theyre loaded with virii or backdoor software.

Does anyone have any experience with pirating windows? The price on the software seems a bit outrageous to warrant purchase.

I don't know but I just got a windows 8 computer a while ago and I think it's absolutely horrible.

I don't really care about computers the same way I did. I just want them to work easily and correctly. For some reason it seems to me Microsoft wants my non-touch labtop to pretend to be a shitty tablet. I guess if I really cared I'd see if I could find a 64 bit version of XP or learn how to use Windows 8 but I just kind of LaLala, pretend it's not happening and bumble around.

Yeah stop spending so much time on the Russian version of 4chan ya mook

Really tho if you have malwarebytes and avg and boot in safe mode then run them both you should catch pretty much everything.

yeah ummm just piratebay that shit. sort by number of downloads and get the one with the highest dl count, that probably will work. then after install run all sorts of virus scanners. i also suggest pirating kaspersky. after installing pirated windows, run malwarebytes, kaspersky, and any other scanner you can get your hands on. also get process explorer and check your running processes for any out of place .exes running.

Just pirate bay a copy.

Since it's a fresh install if it does have any malware on it just clean it up before you put your shit on it.

Microsoft won't care you pirating Win7 with Windows 8.1 and 9 coming around the corner.

Thanks. It just occurred to me that after 7 stopped working and I loaded xp, I may have cleaned it enough for 7 to work again. Never really tried it.

I've also never pirated software. Isn't there something about burning an image file to a cd and creating a boot disk that way?

yeah you burn the image file to cd and then when you have the cd in your tray it will automatically boot to windows setup

you might have to go into your BIOs and change the boot order so that it boots from your CD drive. and then once it does that it will have a message like "PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM DISK" and you press a key and then setup begins.

thats probably the most technically challenging part though. after that you just wait until setup is done.

if it's an .iso file you can burn it to a disc or virtually mount it with freeware DAEMON Tools Lite.

Depending on the disc you download, you can run it right from inserting it or bootup.

I can empathize gee no. I'd be fucked if a certain friend wasn't great with comps. He just brings over an external HD with whatever I want mounted on it. Its probably kept me from learning tbh.
