Podcasts?

I'm sure there's another thread here somewhere..

Finally got myself a smart phone and have fallen in love with Podcasts. Which podcasts do you enjoy? Please share kindly.

I've got a feeling it wouldn't be of much interest to you. Most of it is commentary or news on games or movies, with splashes of stand up comedy, music, or math and science articles and news.

Seriously I'm a pretty huge nerd. Sometimes I watch videos of people taking apart old computers because I think it's cool seeing different types of chips and seeing the different technologies.

Screenshots of my feed are below the spoiler tag.
A couple I've only subscribed to but haven't listened yet (Mustache Rangers, Fat Man on Batman, and Dead Authors).
They're pretty much all comedy or about comedy or by comedians except for a handful.

The podcasts with high numbers of unread doesn't necessarily reflect quality, but more my listening habits/sheer amount of episodes.

Thanks for sharing, guys. I could certainly use more laughs in my life!

Sir... Oh I'm a huge nerd too, I've been listening to philosophy and science podcasts all week. What channels on YouTube do you recommend?

Usually I search for the topic I'm interested in an just branch out from there.

I've heard TED talks is pretty cool though.

Star Talk Radio - Neil DeGrasse Tyson and a comedian (usually the inimitable Eugene Mirman) talk current science events and do interviews and stuff. The comedian acts as the layman's entry to the more technical conversations, as they ask the questions you or I would probably ask.

Stuff You Missed in History Class - bite sized history lessons from How Stuff Works. Very interesting.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History - audiobook length, 4 hour + long, incredibly in depth history lessons. The episodes about the Fall of the Roman Empire kept me enthralled for about 2 weeks straight.

Probably Science - comedians, a scientist friend of theirs, and a guest, chat about some topics that interested them this week. They each bring a unique "this grabbed my eye" topic.

Professor Blastoff - 3 comedians and a guest chat about one specific Topic each episode. Aliens, the Afterlife, Death, etc. Some get very heady, and some stay goofy.
