Welp, had an one-on-one hour long discussion with my CEO about the virtual OR I've built, looks like i've been Greenlit!

Well Gentelmen its now 2016 and the Vive is almost upon us,
I dabble in Game Design, 3D animation and Digital arts.
So i want to see your lighters up if you want to me to make the most immerssive and detailed stoner game ever. i already have tons of ideas and a few high qaulity assets ive made using blender, my plan is to beef up the PC and build it in Unreal 4.

i'd love to assemble a team if anyone is willing as well.

Thoughts?

As someone who's dabbling in this game [pun intended] for a bit now, the unreal engine is good if you're only doing Vive/Rift gaming. If you're going to add other unconventional inputs [like a Leap Motion] Unity has way better support.

Plus, people are starting to crank out very 'unreal' like projects in Unity:

idk what kind of team you need i work with data mostly i dont know anything about games

i can provide you some high quality pics of festivals/decoration

Animal AI is something i might need in my medical sims i'm finding so if you can demonstrate something rudimentary close to nature I'm all ears [and wallets].

I've still yet to even experience it - but I'm definitely gonna get one.


It's a battle between the HTC Vive and the PS VR. On the one hand, I love that you actually move around in a small area in the Vive, that plus the hand controls .. seems like the most immersive experience overall (also, Valve's business practices don't piss me off like Facebook/Occulus have been.. which is why I decided to take it out of the running)


But the PS VR is going to have more games. A lot of games. And games are my favorite thing ever.

but then again, I can actually develop with the Vive...

I've tried the Vive, PS VR, Google Cardboard, Google Tango, and the Samsung Gear VR.

Oculus is a cut above them all, with maybe the Vive as a close second.
