I'm heading off to Exodus this year in my official Journalistic capacity for Stickypoint Magazine.

Gonna be insanely awesome.

I've been promised an expense account, free entry, and people looking after me to the point where they'll "butt out my joints for me"...

DOOF!

I'll be going to the Gym Class Heroes concert at Revolution Hall in Troy, New York, in February. Can't wait. One guy I know is renting a bus, plan on getting mad fucked up on the bus on the way over and, of course, even more so during and after the show. At least one guy from the band'll be at the afterparty I'm going to. Not sure if the others'll be showing yet.

Who's seen the line-up for Coachella? I have to say at least 1/3rd of the performers I would definitely pay good money to see live. About 1/3rd I'm unfamiliar with or have only read/hear about, and not heard their music. And the other 1/3rd are kinda meh for me, but I'll check them out.

But. Shit. Re-united Rage? Can't pass that. They were a huge part of my life in middle/high school and I always regretted never seeing them live. Bjork? Fuck yeah. Ghostface? Fuck yeah. Felix da Housecat, DJ SHADOW!, LCD soundsystem, INFECTED MUSHROOM!, Peaches, Air, Richie Hawtin, fuck, the electronic artists alone make me kinda cream. (Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto really don't, but they are some of the biggest trancefucks out there, so I'll indulge) That's not even all of 'em. Pharaoh Monche, The Roots, shit. Incredible.

The fact that the Coachella Valley is less than half an hour away from me pretty much makes me a fuck-up douche-for-life if I don't make this event. The three-day pass is kinda steep, $250, but the single-day passes are fewer in number and like $90. So ill. I can't wait for this shit. Anyone else planning on this one?

Snoop Dogg / Ice Cube / Kurupt / Belly Show

Happened tonight in Winnipeg. Ice Cube was unreal, Snoop was disappointing. No where near his '02 Saskatoon show. Snoop might've been tired, but it was like his feelings were hurt because no one remembered the words to his older songs and no one already knew the words of his newer songs.... BUT instead of doing the verses of songs he would just trail off, and try and get the crowd to wave or repeat something.

Kurupt was alright, WC was the 2nd best up there, I think I was too hyped for Snoop, and the expectations just couldn't be met. There were some cool people at the show, though. Anyone seen this tour? I heard Snoop was great in Regina last night...

Ice Cube, baby. Yeayah.

Just heard about the Coachella Valley festival tonight, and it looks unreal. The list of bands... wow...
