Hate to be a moocher, but does anyone have any of the basement jaxx albums? I can't find a working torrent, and I've been itching for that sound recently.

Newest from Justin Townes Earle. To be honest the dudes been a bit iffy since his EP, he's released two full lengths that were a little spotty in my estimation. That first EP was however pretty damn awesome. On this album however he's improved and taken on a bit of a different style. I've honestly only gave it a quick listen while fixing some stuff around the house, but I dug it enough and figured someone else might. MIB I'm thinking you might like this.

Title track:

Track from aforementioned EP:

Anyway, I guess with all the EP talk I should probably reup that, it's a really solid effort. Give me a little and I'll toss it up here too.

In the meantime, here's S Carey's album. Dude plays drums and piano for Bon Iver and recently put out his first full length. This is another I gave a real limited listen to but it sounded pretty good to me.

Good to see this thread is STICKIED again.

Haven't posted much in here in a long time, so here's an amazing compilation I've been listening to non-stop the past few weeks.
Amazing soundscapes, beats, songs, raps, noises, etc.

Also the story / concept behind the whole compilation is really cool too:

Quote:
This is a story about a young Russian girl named Jinna Morocha who had a vision of one day flying to the Moon.

Many years ago during the hard times of life in Moscow, the young girl saw the Moon consciously for the first time and at that very moment the dream began. These vivid thoughts remained in her mind and she started to ask herself ďHow can I get to the Moon?ď. Soon she found the label Project: Mooncircle over the internet and told them her story, at once she saw a chance to come a few steps closer to her dream. By now Jinna lived in Germany and it was possible for her and the label to meet, her key question was ďCan you bring me to the Moon?ď. The answer was a faltering ďNo, but maybe we can let you fly to the Moon in your mind. Letís build the soundtrack to this vision, close your eyes, clear your thoughts and let us begin on your journeyď.
File's split into two parts as its 200MB+
Part 1
Part 2

I was all about that first Ducktails album you posted two summers ago. The track 'Daily Vacation' was my anthem. Thanks for reminding me how awesome he is.

That dude (matthew mondanile) also plays in the band Real Estate - which are of similar vibe - but more beachy surf rock style.
