Good to see this thread is STICKIED again.

Haven't posted much in here in a long time, so here's an amazing compilation I've been listening to non-stop the past few weeks.
Amazing soundscapes, beats, songs, raps, noises, etc.

Also the story / concept behind the whole compilation is really cool too:

I was all about that first Ducktails album you posted two summers ago. The track 'Daily Vacation' was my anthem. Thanks for reminding me how awesome he is.

That dude (matthew mondanile) also plays in the band Real Estate - which are of similar vibe - but more beachy surf rock style.

It's from 2008 and according to Rolling Stone it's "one of the year's best stoner-rock records - only it's powered by synths, hip-hop beats and vocoders instead of guitars."
