Definitely a good band.

They get old fairly quickly though, imo. They play the kind of music where after a while you'll just be listening to them, and suddenly realize "I don't want to hear this anymore."

Enjoy them though, and everyone should check them out.

I was never too much for post-rock as it's called. Other bands of note would be Mogwai and Godspeed You Black Emperor. However a couple friends of mine recommended the band This Will Destroy You and that is awesome stuff as far as post-rock goes.

^ TNT is one of my favorite albums.

Did you know Zwan is the guitar from Tortoise with Billy Corgan?

If you like Explosions... check out Do Make Say Think, album Yet & Yet.

Thumbs up

http://www.yahooka.com/forum/music-s...rock-sort.html

upon 2 years of consideration, and fairly consistent enjoyment of this same stuff, i still don't really like emperor.

Explosions are still a catch. Travels in Constants is a great little project.

Mono satisfies occasional desire for heavier grindier gear along similar lines.

TheAlbumLeaf is nice&mellow on quiet afternoons & eves.
