My high school was packed full of yuppies who desired to have that hippie edge, and therefore would often sport tie dyed grateful dead tees with their cargo pants and flip flops. Once I was at a party where many of these kids were chillin', so I figured we could find common ground in some good ole' dead songs (as opposed to the horrible, buzz killing pop they were previously listening to). So I put in a GD album (greatest hits no less) and immediately got bitched at by one of the very kids who wore Jerry bear and dead skull t shirts, complaining about the "shitty country music". Fuckin' dumbshits, I should have known they were just wearing the shirts to look cool.

People do talk about Phil Lesh and Friends, and Bob Weir & Ratdog cause they still play shows. Speaking of which, I'm going to see Phil and Friends in two weekends. Woohoo.
