Thanks man. I heard the new album on his myspace which is the first Murs I've heard in years and that's what got me interested again.

One of our busiest weekends at work, but I'll see if I can sneak in something new on Sunday or so.

new murs shit is kinda beat imho. check out his old shit.

since hes gotten hella popular, his production has gone down hill. to be honest, i havent really kept up with him, but it seems like the beats are pretty simple....his lyrics are his strong point, but even those i dont think are as tight as they used to be. mabye hes just changing styles or something. but "murs for president" is probably one of his weaker albums.

maybe i just havent taken the time to listen to it

edit: end of the beginning was the last dope album he made.

edit: i cant even listen to murs for president. sounds like garbage....or doesnt sound like murs, either one. not surprising, considering the rest of the legends are kind of in the same boat...releasing a bunch of shit that doesnt sound all that tight (maybe im just stuck in the good ol days).

to be honest i just got on murs like 2 weeks ago. im just really happy there's still artists such as him to be discovered. i will start downloading his older stuff. if you could upload some of his old albums, i would appreciate it.

even though murs doesnt give a shit if people upload and share his music, i dont like sharing whole albums to people i dont know and that most likely arent going to support the artist by buying a cd or going to a show. -- (not to mention i dont even know how to.)

i still buy music in stores and dont want to get or give others free albums (with exceptions).

but im sure someone else will hook you up or you can go to a local music sto.
