just finally released an album and has a video done by a dude I went to school with (small world, eh?). Anyway, between shirts, hoodies and albums he's put himself in debt from my understanding and wants some help spreading the word, so here goes.

Not very much like Aesop at all. Aesop is 99% just a bunch of words that sound kinda cool together, not really much of a message most of the time. Had you said El-P, Slug, Sage or something I'd have given it to you.

See the above. Eh, I'll bite on the last one. He's against prejudice, being fake, acting hard, and striving to be the same as everyone else. I must be missing where he's doing any of those things, clue me in though, since you surely have a better vantage point.

Yeah he told me a bunch of friends of his were worried it could be construed on a racist level if you didn't really know what he's about. I guess there's some truth to it, a white guy calling black men monkey's could be taken the wrong way. My favorite from the song would have to be "you're not a bad motherfucker if your demographic is only 13 and under."

Those kids are hysterical. I always laugh at those kids when they come in my work, and there's a lot of them. No doubt dude dresses kinda "urban" but he certainly doesn't really act it, so it's fine by me. I did have to laugh the first time he told me he rapped, it was like "yeah, you and everyone else these days".

it was alright, almost no flow, like he is trying to say too much at one time. watching him jerk around in the video was kinda odd. as far as dissing someone famous when you are not and there is no link between the too is sooo 1995.

Yeah listening to his album compared with the stuff he used to put out pre-album I kinda dig the older stuff flow wise, but I still enjoy this. I'm bigger on lyrics than flow anyway for the most part.

It took me a bit to get into it but by the time it started to get into full swing I found it to be pretty solid. And props to whoever did the video.
