The only good rappers/rap groups out there are Immortal Technique, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Kottonmouth Kings, three6mafia, Tech N9ne, NWA, Public Enemy. I usually jam to a mix of metal and rap, usually consisting of a mix of Dimmu Borgir, Dark Tranquility, Metallica, Protest the Hero, nonpoint, Coheed & Cambria, The Human Abstract, Paramore, and the above rappers.

Stephen Stills and Crosby Stills Nash and Young are pretty good. Of course, Stephen was from CSNY.

Treetop flyer is a great song by Stills.

That is some terrible music. Listing Kotton Mouth Kings as one of the only good rap groups out there is probably the funniest thing I've read in a month.

Pink Floyd will always be my favorite, insane depth to their lyrics, and their music is unbeatable. the second one of their songs starts im not on earth anymore. visual and phsyical experiences. I really hate the druggie label they have, i listen to them sober about every day and they blow me away every time. they are the best high because they are the best sober.
system of a down has blown me away over and over. their a little heavy at times but they send me on trips almost as strong as floyd.
modest mouse is climbing up my charts, they make me see crazy stuff, but i dont get a good body buzz like i do from floyd and SOAD
Red Hot Chili Peppers are always a good choice, some of the best drug lyrics ive ever heard. they dont need to come out and say i do drugs like a lot of weed songs do. "Otherside" doesnt directly mention drugs at all but its possibly the best song about drug addiction ever written.

I could go on and on, but basically all you people who think rap is the best thing to listen to high, branch out. there is so much better stuff out there dont be one genre listeners.

I'm not a huge fan of his but lil wayne is a good rapper, his flow is awful but his rhymes can be tight. Not that "A Milli" kind of bullshit, but hes got some good shit.

But for as what I listen when I'm baked is a mix of...
Blind Melon
Sublime
Queens of the Stone Age
Band of Horses
Kings of Leon
Modest Mouse......shit like that.

My favorite is to chill out with the Kottonmouth Kings Xperience its the remix album that comes with a dvd of eyecandy set to the music... five stars... veeeeeeery cooooooool...... Otherwise, I also like to get agro and listen to Immortal Technique... Hes top shelf stuff... If you don't know who he is I suggest you get your Google on....

Honorable mention goes to the Boingo album with the song Change ... nice Beatles vibe, trippy sounds that carry you with the tides of the song, it takes you places....

Not to be off topic, but speaking of change - Obama is no better than Bush, take a moment after Yahooka to visit Infowars.com & PrisonPlanet.com - Because there is a war on for your mind.

One more thing... Check out the glory to the story of the Real Estate...
I will forever have the first Cypress Hill album playing in the back of my mind every time I light another... Funkdoobiest & Total Devastation also put me on a cloud nine vibe.

good to see some kasabian mentioned here. I dig it, but my friend is too obsessed with it, kinda turned me off to it.
