I like the attempt at "semi-complete"

Are there any online record stores that stock a lot of stuff?

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

Bearsy it wasn't 6 yet, so it's okay.

Glad I could amuse and you could make heads or tails of it scatter. Long as my meaning wasn't lost I suppose.

the only vinyl I have is an near-mint original pressing of Neil Young's "Harvest", signed by the man hisself.

It's arguably one of my favourite possessions.

Digital music sounds too mechanical. Which is fine if you listen exclusively to electronic music, but with other music the warmth of the sound and the "realness" of it is a definite bonus.
i know ya didna' mean no harm bearsy, but this is untrue and unfair to a huge slew of electronic producers who incorporate melodic elements into their music. where it may not matter as much is a DJ spinning in a massive-room setting where the speakers are completely maxed out by bass anyways, but if you're ripping off a bedroom/car mix the difference between the two formats is huge.

if anything it is a lot of the modern pop/rock/r&b that is essentially pre-packaged for distribution on mp4 devices & as ringtones.. you go to some little commercial school for mastering these days and it's all about the radio edit.

so while it's great to source just about anything on vinyl, what is key is seeking out those artists & producers who keep/kept their values raw & pure to begin with.

also I feel compelled to point out that alot of good electronic music is/was originally released on vinyl.. even current artists like Boards of Canada

Harvest is the perfect example of an album that is a complete shame to listen to in a compressed format.

Harmonics just go to shit and/or essentially become nonexistent.

once you get a decent collection..do yourself a favor and check this stuff out. go through your crate one time and treat all your records, they'll stay clean and sound great for ages.

And Harvest is an awesome album. Out on the Weekend is one of my favorite songs of all time.
