John Coltrane...

Here is some proof.

Enjoy.

Thanks.

My fav jazz album is coltrane/monk.

Everytime i'd play it i would verbally introduce them; "ladies and gentleman, Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane."

I honestly don't think I've listened to any Monk, always intended to though.

I have a Miles Davis and Coltrane vinyl though.

Thank you Geeno.

Yeah I think we had this conversation before Giles. I dig that one a lot as well, but I always loved Giant Steps.

Damn man you`ve got some short term memory!

He`s done so much stuff, he`s so versatile, he`s worked with so many other greats. He combined the utmost virtuosity with humility. He was the man IMO.

I also really like the Kenny Burrell&John Coltrane works.

Amazon.com: Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane: Kenny Burrell, John Coltrane: Music

I've got in on CD somewhere, if y'all are interested I'll see if I can track it down.
