Anything from the Baroque period is pretty good, you dont need to be actively listening to it to enjoy it.
Not really sure how to help you. Songs like Pachelbel's canon are Baroque. |

start with Bach maybe Mozart and move on from there.
or go to your local library and pick up random cds in the classical music section. its hard to pick a bad one. i like traditional Japanese music, maybe its not "classical" but i guess its like the asian counterpart of what we consider classical, ie. its old.

classical musicians are some of the most well trained disciplined musicians that are, even if you dont like the music you gotta respect the skill. plus when you just imagine that not only are these composers composing with one instrument, they have a whole god damn orchestra to worry about, to mix instruments and tones and timbres and shit. its fucking crazy.
it takes a little paying attention to classical music to fully appreciate it imo. if you fully engage your ears and listen to the melodies and countermelodies you can get lost in the music in a way you dont often find with modern stuff.
