i thought the same way when i was like 8. but if you think of yourself as someone with higher musical taste than people that enjoy rap, your a closed minded fool. there is simply too much good music of every genre to limit the kinds of music you listen to. albeit, there is bad rap. that can be said of every kind of music. in my opinion, rap is the most poetic genre around today. maybe not the very commercial stuff, but most commercial music blows anyway. and how can you say that rappers have no skill? sure, some of them basically just talk, but others are very talented musicians/singers, and should not be lowered in status because of the kind of music they create. i dont personally like him very much, but try and rap as fast and as clean as twista, and you will understand just a little bit of the skills those guys have. there's 2 kinds of music i don't listen to (screamo and country), but i would never chastise someone for listening to them. for the benefit of this world, please grow the fuck up.

I'm glad they play rap at clubs, even tho I was 2 seconds away from killing myself if I heard Flo Rida one more time. I took a break from the scene around then. Still, there's something that's just more fun about rap in a social setting than there is with guitar/drum music.
