pink floyd is far from repetitive. just because a song is long doesn't mean it repeats. you should be ashamed of yourself.

, you really have no idea what you are talking about...there are several floyd songs that fit that description, and have segments that repeat for several minutes...such as shine on you crazy diamond, echoes, sheep, etc....

i can see where you would say sheep, but shine on and echoes don't repeat for more than a minute tops. thats 1/23 of those songs. the first 8 1/2 minutes of shine on the guitar changes drastically with every strum. the only repetition comes from the synth and bass beats, but something has to give structure to the song. the lead rarely repeats

Dunno, everything after DSOTM sounds repetitive to me.

Depressing vocals, Radiophonic Workshop special effects, 5 minute guitar solo, repeat ad nauseam...

my ipod has echoes set to start at 2:09, try it. theres some sick guitar and vocals but i like the heavy bass at 7:00. shine on takes forever to start and finish, but is still a classic. great songs, but they could have made them half the time
