sure, post 50s/60s dub uses a lot of reggaeton tracks to sample, yes,,, because that's why/how reggae came to be..

the soundsystems got all of their music that they'd sample from the US and the UK. in the 50s and 60s, everything coming out of the US and UK was rock and stuffs.. they wanted up-beat shuffles and ballads to sample, so they started making their own music and that's how rocksteady and later on reggae and later soca came about.
dub was invented in the late 60s as a SUBGENRE of reggae...
