Word. I'm waiting for an email from them or something, which is what I understand the usual recourse is. Why I tried to link pictures of the albums and not words and am trying not to up anything too big or too new.

Thanks though. Once I'm done being lazy and watching the DVR I'm going to go pull all the shit off my desktop and upload the rest of that nonsense.

i think its the traffic to the site that raises questions. if you got thousands of ppl daily hitting up your blog then they take a closer look at it. i think you'll be fine though. f the riaa.

Agreed across the board. I'm saying I'm hoping by being semi-vague about the album names and shit I'll be low priority as it won't come up top during a google search. Plus I'm hoping this'll get me uploading at a rate comparable to your recent output. Thanks again for that by the way.

i know it sucks to do this but you should go and "cloak" every link, see, when megaupload gets a complaint that those files are copyrighted material, they're going to check the referring url and alert blogger that your particular blog is linking to illegal material.

place this in front of all megaupload.com links: h t t p://unrefer.com/? (no spaces)

so: h t t p://unrefer.com/?h t t p://google.ca (no spaces) would be an example of cloaking your referrer when sending people to google.ca

should keep you up and running, etalonhiphop.blogspo t.com does that and that site has been around for a few years now.

also you may as well capitalize off all the people who want to pirate music, you could use this service (I've used it, they do pay out): Linkbucks.com - Make money when people leave your website!

and of course you want to throw some google ads in there, blogspot has a feature where you can do this from their website. google ads are of course quite reputable.

also you may want to consider password protecting your zip files with the url of your website if you're going to put ads and shit up, that way it encourages people to actually visit your website and click through, see your ads, making you money and shit.

that link bucks thing basically sends teh user to an advertisement page for about 5 seconds before sending them to the actual link that you wanted (which is great to use on those megaupload links, make the fuckers wait for 5 seconds to download something while you make money!)
