i really love these guys
we used to play them to get a jam started too.

i also loved jamming drone style, so maybe thats why they don't get boring to me.
i love being taken on a journey in a song

my absolute favorite. the dude jamming on the tamborine.... you can just see and feel emotion

I was never too big on them, but remember thinking them decent enough. I'll have to check their albums out again now that I've dug into postrock a bit more. I still maintain This Will Destroy You as my favorite of the genre.

On a related note if anyone has any EITS albums laying around and wants to up them I'll be your friend.

For fans of EITS, check out an early band in the same vein, Tristeza:

My favorite album:

Amazon.com: Dream Signals in Full Circles: MP3 Downloads: Tristeza

Their super old stuff:

Amazon.com: Spine And Sensory (Expanded And Remastered): MP3 Downloads: Tristeza

They've been around a while but still have some of the best organic instrumental music I've heard. Very mellow and dreamy compared to EITS, but longer lasting appeal I feel.

They even do pretty cool abstract electronica, kinda Aphex Twin-y without the schizophrenia.

Amazon.com: Mixed Signals: MP3 Downloads: Tristeza

Enjoy. PM me and I can send any of these albums, they are hidden gems.
