Nah, he's on point with what he's saying about the record, he's grown up, he's gotten off of drugs, he's got a kid, he's got demons to excise, and it's his art. It's just a shame that the direction he decided to take with his newly adopted slowflow happens to be garbage.

this is a really amazing instrumental.
if you listen to Kool G Rap you might recognize it. this is a beat done by someone other than the guy who produced the kool g rap track that sounds almost exactly the same. the beach boys pet sounds album is fucking fantastic. the only way it coulve been better is if it was mixed in stereo, rather than mono. but, from what i understand, brian wilson is deaf in one ear, so mixing down to mono helped him. either way, it's truly a work of art.

Rock The Bells may just be going downhill and at a more expensive price. It was thankfully resurrected from what was an incredibly lame beginning by Sage Francis and this was then continued by a decent amount of others. Damian Marley not being there was also pretty lame, but Styles P and Pharoahe Monch as well as a nice song selection by Nas almost made up for it.
