you have to plug in your ipod to your computer to transfer music to your device, not listen to it.

first,
i can't listen to the music on this computer to know what's good, what's not.
second,
when i plug any usb in, it asks for a software via disk or internet dl, which doesn't exist. so it just doesn't read that its plugged in.

it's looking for itunes, but it's not installed. itunes sucks sucks dick anyways, so just set your ipod up as an external hard drive and use floola. freeware.

and depending on how many gigs you can hold on your player, just put whole albums on it, listen to it, then delete the songs you dont like.
