first of all, i'm still totally out to lunch on this song.. never heard of it.. don't understand the appeal of or appeal to... 2nd, the problem with music since anyone can remember is mindless support of 'the hustle'. people need to me more critical listeners and put more 'power' in the hands of those with actual talents and gifts to bring to people.

So I was unfortunate enough to hear this song on the radio today in a friends car on the way home from work. It was absolutely fucking terrible. Like disgustingly bad.

Well I consider myself critical. So, technically speaking, the reason I find this to be an excellent song is because of it's hyperbole.

I just think the parts about the "sky falling down" and "flying away to a great escape" is just good song writing. The song is short though so that sucks.
