da beatles

damn dude u know they have a lot more good songs then i used to think

i feel fine,

drive my car,

within you without you,

i me mine,

yellow submarine album is tits.

i knew most of their pop tunes but i didnt realize they had so much psychedelic music too.

damn all i can say is this game that came out turned me on to the beatles and ill bet it did the same for a lot of people .

cue the "omgzors u didnt like the beatles before!!!" but seriously i think a lot of people thought they were kinda gay with songs like octupus garden and that they made music for kids and shit, and i just gotta say that ive both found new songs that i like and gained a new found respect for the beatles over the last 3 months.

i also like sgt peppers, but it has to be listened to all the way through to be appreciated properly. also, you have to smoke right after the sgt peppers lonely hearts club band intro thing. for proper effect of course

You already made this thread twice, once when you got the game and once when the abbey road expansion came out...Did you really need to make it a third, just to let people know how out of touch you really are?

if you guys understood anything you would understand that it does not matter how long it takes to come into the fullness of liking something good. he likes the beatles and is growing in his understanding of what their art is about and what it point to, so why you gotta hate on him?
making fun of someone for being out of touch shows that you dont get it. instead, celebrate that he's getting in touch with whats good in this world.

This is celebrating the commercialization of the art...not the art itself...For someone who is always trying to further herself from babylon I would think that you would be the last to champion and defend the voice of those that are blinded by it's ways...For shame v3da..

i understand what you are saying but even the wickedness of babylon may play a part, however unwittingly, in the mysterious workings of the Everlasting One Love.

it is a shame that the weakest and blindest among us are the ones that need my defense the most

Where would everyone recommend starting with The Beatles?

for me it comes down rubber soul and the white album. the white album is great. you cant go wrong with that one.

my favorite beatles albums- rubber soul , white album, revolver, abbey road, let it be

i think their later stuff is the most accessible. i dont like their early stuff at all to be honest. its catchy pop fluff. their later stuff is art. rubber soul is when their music started to transform.
