I live in Connecticut and the city of Bridgeport benefits so much from that fest. I think a mass bombing wouldn't be able to stop the gathering.

Do you think its going to be a little more stricter this year, as in city police thru campgrounds as opposed to just sticking to the road by the ocean?

I think I'm done with the fest scene.

Ever since someone I know was presented pictures of them at a local fest, I've reconsidered my comfort in such places.

Plus all the hippies really bug me.

the cops in Bridgeport don't do anything at the vibes anyway. They're just happy that they don't have to bust crackheads and rapists that day. Last time I went (07) they just walked through the crowd and handed me a slip saying my van had been searched. Spent a long time hiding good beers in the panelling and they didn't even search. Bridgeport doesn't run the Vibes btw, Terrapin does. That's why they were in Mariaville for a while, but the bikers run ILCC and are bitchy about searching people.
