^Great! Any more songs that stand out for you?
There are a load of different styles of dance.. but I am particular about oldskool hardcore from the early 90's. When I first started to go out in teh world.. it twas to raves. M |

yup yup, i think that 92 mixtape i linked is more like the stuff you're talking about
you can definately hear the similarities between oldskool hardcore and breaks or jungle, especially in the drums i used to have this diagram from a magazine which showed which electronic genres had given birth to proceeding generes over the last 30 years, can't find it now though, was interesting personally, im more into the garage side of things, or house recently, but im pretty easily pleased im loving these videos on youtube, the clothes and video effects are hilarious ![]() i completely missed this era, was just a kid at the time Last edited by AfroHorse; 02-17-2010 at 11:57 PM. |

Lol I remember Ratpack.
I think the nineties was underrated as a decade, especially in terms of music.

the 90s was the BEST decade for music. except for maybe the first punk movement
loads of the old rave acts are still kicking, over the last couple of years ive seen ratpack, dream frequency, ultrasonic, shades of rhythm, q-tex and a few others. its still massive in scotland
