have you been keeping up with madlib's beat konducta series?

i don't know why, but apparently they stopped doing the hand-drawn cover art

they've been releasing 1 installment per month of dopeness, and if you don't want the whole LP they release standout tracks on 45s..

Dude at the height of his game, loves dogs, fucked it up by making poor decisions, sounds p similar...

Major differences are mike wasn't smokin the rock and x just hasn't redeemed himself...

DMX and the dog thing was more of a demand by defjam that they needed someone to fill a persona for their record label

he's on shit as early as 91 rappin like rakim, like a real rapper

but yeah DMX inspired a lot of people. I think his internal conflict just bubbled out of control, thats all. It happens.

not to mention the couple he did with segal were good in a seleck, norris sorta way...you know that questions are being asked with fists and answered with never ending streams of assault weapon fire...

Im gonna watch belly again.

I almost cried in belly during the part where nas is on the bench with the kid... just cause i instantly recognized one of the most visual verses in rap history, off of one of my favorite albums.
