I feel the same way about them as I do Blind Melon. It's pretty disrespectful to the legacy of their friend and someone who was obviously an integral part of the band. Even if they end up making decent to good music with a new person there is absolutely no reason not to rename the band.

I'd include Alice In Chains but I don't even know if that album turned out to be any good. That new Blind Melon album is however quite good if you forgive the whole name thing.

Speaking of disrespectful, reducing someone who's music and talent you enjoy to "a fucking heroin junky" is also pretty tasteless.

well i am somewhat dissapointed that he had to go and die so early when they could have had a long ass career and made a bunch of nice albums.

jimi hendrix too,

these fuckers should have chilled out with the drugs a little bit and theyd still be around today .

It isn't the same, Brad just had that soul and charisma that this guy lacks.

i like that lay me down song that rome did with the dirty heads (from a local beach town by me, just starting to get big). you can definitely tell hes trying to sing the way bradley did, but i still find it pleasant. bradley always had that kinda bitter sweet way of singing. you could tell he was angsty and strung out but he was passionate, and it really shows in his vocals. Rome, to me, doesnt deliver that full spectrum emotion in his singing but he sounds 'like' bradley.

yeah jfk i gotta agree with myxo. you could have made the same post and said the same thing without throwing in the phrase "fucking heroin junky." just unnecessary hate, bro.

edit: just removing the word "fucking" would have gone a long way to making the whole op less dickish.
