lol someone's got money or access to a lab.

only milligram scale i could afford right now is a no name ebay one. they're like $20 but i assume the accuracy is like +-5mg, which sucks because i could really use one for some of the more potent rc's right now it's borrow my friend's .01g scale, measure within what i'd imagine to be +-.02g accuracy, and keep dividing in half, testing, eyeballing, and inferring till i get a reasonable estimate.

remember precision ≠ accuracy by any means

you can't measure quantities less than 10mg accuratly even with a fancy analytic balance due to electrostatic interactions. if you have a lower precision scale you can always dilute to a know concentration with liquid (usually vodka).

ya, i feel like anything i'd toot i dont need THAT much precision on. +-5mg should be fine. anything i'm gonna ingest i'll preferably weigh out multiple dosages (scales seem more accurate at higher weights for some reason) then dose with water.

I remember making scales from a ruler, some string and coins to weigh hash.

Oh yeah, I though americans said scale not scales?

at the massive hijacking going on here

one way to think about scales on guitar is that its just like a piano but each string you move up (lets say E to A) is just like if the keyboard shifted up 5 keys. if you can think of it that way, you can learn piano and guitar all at once

hey mafoo sorry i didnt reply to your pm my box is full now and im too lazy to delete that shit. i love reason been using it for years and ish... i still have 3.0 lol.

and as for this thread, i was meaning to share this when i first saw it a few months ago but i was too lazy to make this then so i just made it real quick now-

when i was learning acoustic guitar many moon ago this guy i knew who was really awesome at guitar said "here man this little piece of paper will help u play scales and solos in tune with anything you hear as easy as pie and in seconds" over the years ive come to appreciate how awesome it is and apply more to it.

but so heres the chart, what you do is memorize these 2 patters- then if u start with any note as the 1 on the low e string and just play all these notes they are all in the same key and easy to play and easy to solo with. if a particular song doesnt work with one of the patters then try it with the other one.

i bestow this knowledge upon u yahooka just as it was passed on to me long ago .
