MJ's one year anniversary

Turned on the TV and the radio today and saw that MJ was being hyped everywhere. Pretty cool. Then I went to pick up some smokes and a sixer and they were listening to MJ in the store. So I bullshited with the cashier about how today is MJ's day.

I'm not so suprised about all the hype as I am surprised that it has been a YEAR already!! Fuck, how time flies.

Yeah it was right before we finally moved on here as I recall.

Talking my daughter to kinder this September, soon enough it'll be junior high. Don't know what to think about that just yet

We were watching some old videos of his yesterday. I like his work alot, but my son and wife are big fans. We ended up watching for like 3 hours.

Man, it's been a year? I was on the Red Sea for vacation and swear that all Al-Jazeera Arabiyya was covering that day was MJ's death, which was at the time a sad commentary of priorities in Middle Eastern news. I didn't mark the day in any special way but think I might sen an email off to my old driver to see how he's doing a year out.

Man, time flies and I'm beginning to feel old already..
