Lol I don't even like the Beatles but I've got to say their technical proficiency > Cream's any day. Except Ringo .

Having 10 minute solos with lots of notes in doesn't make you technically proficient.

Edit McCartney is very underrated on bass even if he's an annoying Scouse git.

lets see here, how about a man that the band backed? bob dylan? the reason the band was so tight was that they played music together for a few years before heading out as bob's backing band and later going off on their own!
