9/10 people i know call them the tragically tragic.

I don't think they are that bad, but I'm not searching them down that is for sure. I think they get air time in Canada because of the content regulations. But I'm just one man.

My girl introduced me to them when we first met, being her and her two best friend's favorite band, and over the past 9 months they've grown on me so much that they're probably in my top 10, if not very close.

We get the Canadian Edge here sometimes and they're on pretty often, but they don't get any play(afaik) on Buffalo stations.

Boooooo to the people that call them tragically tragic , the Hip, are Canadian icons, I have felt since late 80's they are Canadas version of Led Zepplin( not for sound or style) I just always felt they were destined to be as big and as musically loved. Not my fave overall, but I love them, for rock n roll genre.... I prefer cannibal corpse and lamb of god to jam to when i jog or workout or drive and burn 1..... I like Leon Redbone(jazz) when I wake up in the morn....
