yeah, this guy:

announced that he retired from the film industry to focus on his rapping career

I sure did, I even went around telling my buddies just to see their disbelief...

Now maybe four months later, I searched it again and found out the dude was making a "mockumentary" and just chose to "remain in character for public appearances."

Sure had me fooled.... the movie is called I'm Still Here
also, that wiki page is worth a read.
