well I'm trying to listen cause lately I've been attempting to listen to quite a bit of different stuff but my nets being gay and youtubes going extremely slow so its hard to listen.

but yea thread doesn't have to be about one type of music, its about w/e you enjoyed in 2010 and feel is worth checking out thats relatively new.

hype is usually associated with up and coming acts for a reason.

that said alot of talented musicians are out there doing there thing year after year and dont get the recognition they deserve.

i consider an up-and-coming artist to be people who are gaining quick recognition for their work, ie, hype. hence the up-and-coming part.

My vote goes to James Blake. I've heard his album due out in 2011 and its a game changer. So damn original, he's a genius. Definitely not for everyone though...
