cool festival news.

the bonaroo lineup is released.

and the rothbury festival is taking place again this year, but its called "electric forest" festival, and its on the same site as the previous rothbury festivals as best as i can tell.

chese are playing both !!!

There's no way he was cheap. And it doesn't really seem all that out of place to me. They try to cater to a huge crowd, and have. They have a lot of "jam" picks, some for the old heads, Girl Talk for the hipster kids who don't know yet that it's not a very fun live show, stuff for the hip hop bros, etc. etc. Kinda makes sense. ..ish? haha

overall i'm not happy with the electric forest lineup. Just looks like a sketchy time with a lot of kids running around on ecstasy. I just see a whole lot of dubstep, gay eurotrance and a sprinkling of people I'd actually like to see and REO speedwagon??????...w tf. 3 days of cheese however is a very tempting proposition. Currently I'm thinking Hookaville-->High Sierra-->then chill in Cali for a week or so. All Good is also on the radar since Furthur is headlining.

Unfortunately I think I'm gonna be skipping electric forest cause I don't see the whole environment up there rubbin me the right way. I mean DJ Tiesto.....really? I would love 3 days of cheese and I freakin love the double j but.....meh.

yeah you hit the nail on the head. i'll prob. be going mostly for the cheese and nostalgia. I love that place, one of the best venues i've been to, but damn they really killed it for a lot of people. I guess i'll be going down with the ship. All good looks pretty dirty so i'm planning on going to that and on to floydfest
