I have only seen one show this year... I think (damn you Marijauna) I saw Dr. Dog on Valentines Day. I have to say I am done seeing hipster band live. Love the records but the concerts seem just like the albums.
I will only go to Jam band, Hard Rock, Hip-hop or Jazz shows! I am swearing by this!
Atmosphere/Abilities/Grieves/Blueprint in a few weeks can not wait.
I missed Chromeo in Feb, because i had no money my friend had a blast.
I have nothing planned after Atmosphere, I might go to Phish, but sadly that would just be for the drugs.
I might also go see Further, I'm sure i will see John Butler at least once this year.
And thanks to this thread I just bought Galactic tickets for 6/23. I have 4 dollars till friday now! O well at least i'm going to Galactic!
Fuck yea Robert Randolph just went on my credit card... I don't think I had any balance on that damn thing
Damn this thread

Have seen:

Walk the Moon
Flaming Lips
Michael Stipe
Patti Smith

Will see:

Matt Nathanson
Dispatch
Ray Lamontagne

Though with the summer coming up I'm sure plenty of artists will be coming round these parts and I always end up scoring a ticket to something a few weeks before, so eyes are always peeled for what's around the bend.

I never received the two phish tickets that I paid 150 for!

So I called ticket master, gave them my info, the order info and they cancelled the old tickets and made new will call ones!

If there is a problem at will call, I'll fucking kill someone

Bo Iver have fun! Phish is playing 5 shows 45 minutes away from me I might g if i can get a cheap ticket... It can be fun if I keep an open mind and not walk around hatin' on all the "loser hippies", and tool college kids, and pinch of some mushrooms and some good beer could make for a fun day...
I saw Sam Roberts and the Cold War Kids for free, CWK were pretty lame, they didn't seem like they gave a shit, Sam Roberts was pretty good. Ben Harper in September, probable my most highly anticipated show since the Chili Peppers back in high school! Galactic, and Robert Randolph both coming up!`
I might go to Mountain Jam: My Morning Jack, Govt Mule, Avett Brothers,

They were playing as part of a benefit for Free Tibet at Carnegie Hall, that's where I saw Micheal Stipe and Patti Smith, also. A few other awesome artists, this one guy played some sick bongos, but I was a few drinks deep and names escape me.

Deerhunter is pretty much one of the best bands out there right now. Good job Grieves.

A Perfect Circle, Sphongle, DFA 1979, Braids, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Black Keys, Jon Butler Trio, etc. Should be some good nights in July.

Only concert I've been to in 2011 so far was when Rusko came into town. In July I'm planning on hitting Mayhem Fest as well as whoever I can afford to see as the summer tours whirlwind about.

Saw Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at The Square yesterday, then I actually met Alex Ebert(Edward Sharpe) for a minute. I was waiting for the bus and he walked past. My buddy got his attention and we thanked him for coming to Buffalo and shit.
