not sure whos all into synths n shit here but a couple months ago i purchased a serge modular synthesizer, and all i can say is WOWWWWWW.

the sounds that come out of this thing are ridiculous, my jaw is on the floor on the daily. ill use this thread to post cool shit i make with it as i get it uploaded. i have a drum kit i made from it if anyone wants some sweet samples, and i have a bunch of rough drafts of songs ill post as well, but for now heres some serge goodness

they are already prechopped and organized ill upload them tomorrow.
you control the signal flow with cables, and these are stackable cables so you can run things multiple places and multiple times. it's like the calculus of synthesizers, each part is so dense and has so many functions and posibilities, and the sound quality is out of this world. the top panel is the two oscillators, wave multipliers(distorti on pretty much) lfos, mixers, and filter, and the bottom panel is the touch pad sequencer. the sequencer can do 4 different 16 step sequences simultaniously or one 64 step one, and can be manipulated in many ways. this thing is a polyrhythmatic monster.
ill get more of my music done with it uploaded as well.

i use logic mostly, but also use ableton live and cubase. not a fan of reason whatsoever. i only use my DAW to record and layer things, i can play shows with no computer, it rules. this week ill make a video with it all in action.

the serge cost me about 9 stacks, which is a ton of money, BUT its worth waaaaaay more IMO. the build quality is out of this fucking world, as is the sound quality, and the inspiration it gives me is priceless.
not many people can say that they have something that blows their mind and puts their jaw on the floor in amazement once, much less multiple times a fucking day. i feel like a little kid sometimes, just overwhelmed with wonder.
i look at it as an investment, both monetarily and personally. the value of this is pretty much never going to go down and it will be easy to sell, until the world ends that is.
