i tried my best to make it to his debut performance last week, but couldn't get the time off work. My buddy from Montreal saw it and he can't fucking shut up about it.
But yeah, Amon is almost more of a sound designer now than music producer/writer these days. But fuck that live show is out of this world.

TBH id never heard of the guy before this, but damn his music trips me out!
its heavy but ethereal at the same time, really cool stuff. i love all the geometric stuff they did for his stage set up.

in his older shit he used tons of jazz samples, but on this one he used tons of natural samples, he made a video showing kinda where he got them from.
he uses a program called kyma, its a crazy deep softsynth on steroids that has its own hardware computer to run it, and he also has that awesome continuum keyboard which costs like 6 grand by itself..
