Favorite Album 2011

Drake - Take Care

Probably listened to this more than any other album released this year.

Big KRIT - Return of 4eva got a lot of play this past summer too, but Take Care changed my whole opinion on Drake and I'm still listening to it.

Drake is the second worst thing to happen to Canadian music.

That being said, I have 2:
Handshakes and Middle fingers - Classified
Unpersons - The Pack A.D.

Suck It And See - Arctic Monkeys

Has this certain kind of charm to it. Love the whole album.

I love the Primus album it has a more Les Claypool experimental feel to it then other Primus albums. But my favorite album this year is definitely TV on the Radio's Nine types of Light. The Black Keys El Camino came out this year, its ok, to over produced though

Primus so great. Got to see them for free last year and they played one set of old and one set of new (if I remember correct). At intermission they played black and white popeye cartoons. They know their audience.

PJ Harvey record sounded like an instant classic to me. I still struggle with it being so new when it feels so old.

I love Nicholas Payton's album, Bitches.

I only found out about it because of this post that circulated quite a bit last month, Nicholas Payton why jazz isn't cool anymore.
