John Denver anyone?

Yea I may catch flack for this but as a guy who has lived his life in Montana and Colorado it should make sense.

My mom played a lot of music on our 20 minute rides into town and my school, and John Denver is probably the only person she would play whose music I truly enjoyed. At this point in my life it has transcended nostalgia, hearing him play makes me remember Christmases past, winter rides in the family van, hearing him can change my mood from utter black to bliss. I fucking love John Denver and don't understand how anyone couldn't.

ITT we post our favorite John Denver songs. Willie I know you got my back on this.

Terry, thanks for this thread.

I like JD for sure.

My and my Wife's Moms both played him around the house, so it's in our heart-tunes for sure.

As I've moved around this one always strikes me back to where I'm from,

Not WV, but in the same range of mountains about 15 mins north.

John Denver and The Muppets- A Christmas Together. Words cannot explain the feelings and memories this entire album and I share. I remember the album/vinyl (my dad still has it) sitting against the record player and how the lights on the tree reflected on it...like...a million awesome memories. What it was like in the house at Christmas...differen t trees we had through the years. Vivid. I hope I never loose what listening to this album brings me. ♥

Love, love, love.

Animal kicks ass!

I could really post each and every song...but I won't. You get the idea.

I was never a big JD fan my dad really liked him. As I get older I appreciate more and more of my fathers music but I could never really get into Mr Denver.
The Christmas Album sure does bring back memories though!

is mine.

And even if I didn't like John Denver I'd have to respect the hell out of him for standing up against censorship with the whole PMRC thing.
