Sammy Hagar

Partying all weekend in Cleveland, Sammy is playing at the Hard Rock Casino! Pretty psyched, never a huge fan of his work with Van Halen, very fond of his earlier and latter catalog though. Its my first time seeing the Red Rocker. I am not sure what to expect, I think he is like 69 or 70 now!
I'll try to get some good pics to post for any fans here, I have pretty good seats.
Back to the Jacuzzi and boozey, gonna hit the machines for a few hours before the show tonight.. Bad part of my weekend, I have to go out and smoke weed in the truck, only have non smoking suites.......

Me and my wife like Sammy...before, during, and after Van Halen. We saw him with Van Halen in 2004, their last tour together... We was pretty close up, saw looked like Sammy and Eddie had some words then.

I like Chickenfoot too, haven't listened to his new band though, what is it? The Circle? Also watched Sammy on AXS tv, interview with Dan Rather, the other night.

I liked Sammy's song for the Heavy Metal movie, "Heavy Metal" too...

Montrose

My favorite Sammy is with Montrose. "I can't drive 55" changed the speed law that Nixon put in after he sent Kissinger over to the Saudis to trade oil with them which created the "gas shortage". :re::re:

I hear he's got a biography out about the Van Halen days. Interesting stuff.

Check out the Rock Hall while you're in town, it's the best part of The Mistake on the Lake

The show was excellent, I feel very lucky to have witnessed tonight's show!

Hey neighbor,

You're less than 2 hours driving from where I'm living.
Hope you enjoyed the city too. I rather like the Cleve.

Saw Hagar with Montrose in Seattle back in the 70's. Ronnie Montrose could play a mean guitar.

Yep! I love this album of his...The Speed of Sound, it's instrumental, but good rock guitar.

I remember Ronnie saying he was tired of "crotch rock".

I was sitting in Sammys bar Cabo Wabo, drinking Tequila when he came over to our table and sat down with us. Bought us a round of his Tequila and then passed this expensive Camera over to my friend Wendy and asked her if she would take pictures for him of the upcoming wet T contest they were having in a few minutes. Moved us to a central table for picture taking , thanked us and moved on.
Naked girls, wicked Tequila and Sammy Hagar...woot woot
