By chance, i hate Jackass and to an extent the CKY movies...but ONLY because of Bam Magera.
CKY is a good band that has been classified as Punk "Jackass" music

but nice try, guess I insulted you by asking if you liked Eminem...you clearly do, too bad for you.

Currently listening to: Muse - The Small Print

Comming up: Nebula - Way to Venus

I was wondering whod be first to say that Miami, congrats, you have won the Crusty Predictable Fucking Idiot award...

When i said too bad for him, i meant, it had influenced his rapping..it wasnt an insult.

I believe supermarket has said it best, some music is plain entertainment nothing more.

Maybe my words are harsh but nothin pisses me off than someone who tries to burn me with a smile

Or even worse, someone who joins into something he didnt catch the beginning of..

Currently: Alice in Chains - Them Bones
Next: Queens of the Stoneage - Six Shooter

constructive critisim is part of the game, deal with it man.

Well see, some of us out there like music for what it is, music. And some of us take it more seriously than others. You, Crusty, obviously don't take music seriously if you listen to it to get a laugh. I'm sorry, but I get deeper into my music...

I think you misunderstood.

Sometimes music serves no function other than to entertain...yes it's true.

I listen to alotta different music and take my music VERY seriosuly...if you had even bothered to look at some of the other bands i listen to you would realize they are far from gag bands.

music has pulled me outta alotta deep water over the years as Im sure it has done for you.

Perhaps, if I had said what i wanted to say in a more civilized manner you wouldnt be assuming so much about me.

I'm not willing to fight about this anymore, I know why I listen to music and what it does for me...it's always going to be more than a bunch of instruments together to form a catchy hook.

I love how even though we are fighting like little girls, we still stick to the topic

I offer truce.

Current: Dog Fashion Disco - Castaway
Next up: not sure, maybe some Tea Party.

Oh and maybe I can ask you...Im on the search of something beyond music, but it is still music...if you get me? Any suggestions?

OK man, truce it is.

I love gettin into arguements over music, it makes me feel a little better I guess... Now, looking for something that's beyond music? I would suggest listening to anything psychadelic, or some ambient-type stuff. I think Ego Tripping knows a little more on that subject than I do, but I know of this band named Air who do some pretty cool shit. Check it out sometime man...

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, music is made to entertain, to please us, and make us happier (or whatever emotion is expressed), but with something like rap/rock, it has to have a little substinence for me to like it. Just my opinion, and I'm sure you have opinions on what music I like. But whatever, opinions are like assholes...

...everyone's got one.

Yeh, with me, nothing is concrete...music is so many things, can't even begin to TRY to classify it's purpose.

Did you ever end up downloading some John Butler?

Current: Filter - Take a Picture

Nextup: Clutch - The Dragonfly

It's a glorious spring day, the hotel window is open, the sun is streaming in, hence I'm listening to the guy across the street try to get out of paying to be unclamped.

The general throb of city life, the traffic, the market traders, the pigeons and the distant trains, are on bass for his performance providing a lulling backdrop to an intense battle of wits, (but I was only there two faarking minutes).

On strings, Charlie Christian - Complete Studio Recordings, and a cup of hot Rosie Lee.

Filling the wind section of my little orchestra is the thrum of the breeze through the flags on the walls, it's hollow moan as it whistles through the space in the hinge of the window and the gentle crackle and hiss of my joint burning away as I watch events pass and smoke.

OK, I'm stoned, I'll stop now.
