Ah master of war.

Such an amazing, timeless song. Amazing it was written by a 23 year old jewish kid.

I dont know what more there is to discuss about the song other than its a brilliant piece of art. I love how Bob gets really vicious(And I hope that you die/and your death will come soon/Il follow your casket/on a pale afternoon). The single, haunting guitar riff provides the perfect backdrop for a tale of wartorn spite and disguste. Just a man and his guitar, nothin else

Freewheelin is a must have cd. Masters of War is a powerful song. Lyrically brilliant. I also like the guitar melody. Bob was a fucking genius. When I first heard the song I thought of Bush and Cheney.

mine:

1.Freewheelin' - First dyaln cd i really got into. I love the guitar playing and the characters he creates.
2. Bringin it all back home - i look at the track list and i see nothing but classics. Alot of acoustic stuff, some really good electric stuff. a great album all around.
3. Blood On The Tracks - Amazing songwriting, i like the tangled up in blue from the album REAL LIVE the best, check it out.
4. Nashville Skyline - Great album, a little short but the saying quality over quantity originated from this album

5. Highway 61 revisited - Electric Dylan at his best.

i saw him in 2010 and it was terrible. he is a legend but he is so far past his prime a bob dylan impersonator would be a better gig.

Dylan live has been hit or miss since at least the seventies(1977) his bad shows easily outnumber the decent performance here and there(usually a taped for broadcast tribute to his own bobness)
