How big is the plant?
How big is the grow space?
What lights are you using?
Are you using nutes? Which?

If you could answer most of these questions that will help you get a better answer.

You need a timer to set a flowering light schedule. You should make sure the area is dark when other lights. lamps are one. You're in a closet, so any light will come from top and/or bottom of door. The flowering time is unknown unless you have a specific strain. Plan on at least 70 days from the time you set the timer to 12/12. You can make watering a little easier if you use a measuring cup. A measuring cup will let you give each plant an exact amount of water.

As far as watering goes......lift the pot up, if it's light, water 'em.

Nutes...........are you using the Miracle Grow? 10-52-10 to start..........then 20-20-20 for veg..........15-30-15 for flowering.

How tall are they now??

no miracle grow. no nutes. just water thus far. they are all ranging from 3-6 inches tall. they were all germinated and planted at the same time so they are the same age but some are stronger and shorter i think because of the fan. and plus when i moved them to individual pots they were a little shorter. and ive been trying not to overwater them so i have just been watering the area of the stem, and watering from the watering pans

If your plants are that small you won't get much yield.

Make sure your lights are close enough, on for the correct amount of time. Make sure your plants are watered and fed. Let your plants get a bit bigger before flowering if yo want any kind of real yield.

Well you have a few options.

1. You can flower them for 7-10 days. Remove the males, and then finish flowering the females.

2. After gender is known, you can revert back to 24/7 until the plants are taller.

3. Continue 24/7 light until they are as tall as you want them.

I remember my plants are close to 12 inches at 4 weeks with each plant averaging close to 4800 lumen. How much light are you running?

So...your plants thus far have survived on what little nutrients existed in the soil. Who knows what was in there? Some soils can provide 'enough' nutrients for several weeks - hence why your plants are still alive. But I bet they look 'pale'.
False.

CO2 + 2 H2A + light energy → (CH2O)n + H2O + 2A

That's all a plant needs for basic survival.

It's not like it will be thriving though.

I'm completely natural over here(compost).

There are many options for nutes.
Many people like organic nutrients, either purchased from department stores, or made themselves from vegetable compost or worm farms etc.
If you have access to a hydro store they will have separate nutes for veg, and flower.
Otherwise, you'll have to see what you have access to.
There's thousands of brands, but it's not relevant if you live in the sticks.
If you could read up a little on NPK, or N:P:K, that would help.

Cerebro: i see myself making my own if thats possible. how might i do so?

Spanky: CO2 + 2 H2A + light energy → (CH2O)n + H2O + 2A . thats some crazy shit

6H2O + 6CO2+ Light Energy ----> C6H12O6+ 6O2

sorry, that's what I meant.

Buy it?
Composting takes time as it's the heat and the microherd that breaks things down. They work fast but they are small
There are a lot of organic ones that you bubble from 24 - 48 hours that are cheap and easy.
Alfalfa
Molassas
epsom salts
eggshells ground in the coffee grinder
Mike's hard lemonade*

There are probably a lot more should you do a google search on the subject.

*That's for me
