I'm thinking about exhausting into the attic once they start flowering to keep down on smell in my room. Is that a bad idea? Would it just seek the rest of the house through the attic, or would it be better than exhausting into the same room?

Because my room gets pretty cold in the winter, so it would be nice to have the heat from it. I'm more worried about the smell than anything though. Last time it stunk up our whole house and the only way to get rid of it was to attempt at disguising it with ONA spray and scented oils..

So is that a bad idea to just exhaust into the attic?

Probably depends on many factors, size of grow, proximity of neighbors, shape of the house you live in and so on. For me, it works great.

lol i'm just worried about sticking an inline fan in my drywall only to find my fan burnt out some day because of a bat or mouse fell in it or something. hahah

I think I'm just going to have to upgrade to a better inline fan with a filter on it. lol

I just looked at some fraction tsp sized measuring spoons in the kitchen and noticed that there's 1.5 ml's in 1/4 teaspoon. this is the point I realized I've been feeding my plants roughly .1 ml's of nutrients. For some reason something in my head told me that one drop of nutrients falling from the bottom of the spoon equaled one ml. haha I always wondered why the nutrients came is such big bottles... HAHAH Maybe my plants will do much better from now on.

I've been trying to figure out what's the best way to arrange my plants, and I'm using some freezer racks that work perfect with the airflow. I think this is the best arrangement so far as far as light penetration goes. I think they are going to love this set up. I got a Blue Moonshine clone for my birthday from my caregiver with a sample of it, so I'm just hoping to get a nice blue moonshine bud on a stick. haha! It's in the middle between the Big Bud and the Hawaiian.

I wish I woulda gotten a 400w now.. Now that I'm venting my exhaust in the attic, the grow closet is the exact same temp as the room, which is 68-72d F. I cracked the window last night, woke up and the closet was 65.5 degrees... I really wish I would have gotten a 400 now. My 250w doesn't even melt the snow off the roof above the vent either.. I bet a 400w wouldn't either..

these were yesterday...

I added a blue moonshine to the equation that I got for my brithday with a free sample of the herb. I'm going to give it to my new caregiver to grow nice and strong for me so I don't just end up with a nugget on a stick.

Just curious. You have a caregiver and you can grow your own? I can either have a caregiver or I can be my own but my registry card stipulates what my choice is.

I do not believe that is the case in my county. You do know it is different in every county? It's not by state. That's why there's so much competition for dispensaries and caregivers here. They all want more rights(aka plants).

However, I'm only allowed 3 or fewer mature plants up to 6. So I'm going to have to give one or two to my caregiver and keep one as a mother. I'm thinking that will be the blue moonshine and lemon x g13 cause they are the smallest ones. I only buy clones from my caregiver anyways, unless I'm just between harvests. So technically we really only do have 6 plants between each other, what ever my caregiver is doing with my 6 plants is his business as long as he supplies me with my products when needed.

My state(Mich)is new to the ballgame. I don't think our law differs from county to county, yet. I know we don't even have dispenseries in my area as of yet. I only ask out of curiousity to see the differences between states.

Yeah I doubt that the DEA could keep track whether everyone and their caregivers are sharing 6 plants anyways.

The colorado medical marijuana registry is getting over 400 new applications every DAY!

I wish!!! This harvest will not have any smokeable product(or at least product I'd want to smoke) for another 4-5 months. You always gotta take some extra time to cure the buds for your personal stash, it's worth it.
