No, it does not cover the actual mmj. That comes out of pocket.

For me, getting my recommendation is just another Dr. visit. That's why I only pay my co-pay. It's nothing special, I don't have to go to a special location, it's not a Dr.'s office that specifically and only does recommendations. It's an actual family practice, he's been my Dr. since I was little.

If I were to go to an office where all they do is give out recommendations to people who walk in off the street, there is no way it would be covered...my insurance would not pay for that visit.

and if you are growing for some extra cash as well as free meds sell to a club that you are a member of and they know the loop holes my 2 cents

Used to live in Marquette, Skandia, Escanaba, and Gladstone. All I have to say is watch your ass because my old foster brothers mom is a FED and shes camped in Marquette. He said the feds are all over MI looking to pop anyone on the radar. I too qualify for being legal but I've done 11 1/2 years in prison and that FED shit is for the birds. I was big in Garden so I know several growers up there and they have consulted attorneys about this...Just be very careful and don't publicly flaunt any of your status to anyone because I know how bad the snitches are up there...I had UPSET on my ass for over a year. I'm in MI still but downstate. Stay smart.

I don't plan on doing anything different than I have the last 5 years I've grown. I'm not looking to make money just be self sufficient. They're really not looking to fuck with small time 1 plant growers. Having said that I will take your advice and remain being stealth. Good to hear from somebody that lived up here.

Do you know how Pasties came about? The iron miners back in the day would put them in the top of their helmets above the inner support band and while working their body heat rising out the top of their head actually keeps it rather warm, unlike if they were to set it down on the floor of the mine in any sort container. I used to work for the mines in ISHPEMING fun ass times there! Nothing like breathing in iron dust all day! Can you get a outdoor grow finished up there? I never tried and I'm sure you can induce flowering with barrels placed over them to give 12 hours of darkness but I was wondering if you have found a strain that is early enough for up there. Our weather down in Grand Raggedy sucked this year we saw frost into JUNE and a few days in the 50's during fuckin' JULY! outdoors would of been a bitch. Yeah bro I graduated from Gwinn highschool. That whole town was smokin' .

Never tried outdoors. I know some people that have with good success. Mine worker, eh? That's one thing they don't have enough money to get me to do. I live in Escanabis, a mere 40 miles from Gwinn or about 30 near misses of hitting a deer.

Congrats man, hopefully NY is next in line. If not, decriminalization will be good enough for now. Not looking at a MMS if I get caught makes me alot less scared to smoke anywhere outside of my own walls. Hell when I got with a caught with a quarter I got a civil citation, payed like $100, and lost my buds. I didn't even get cuffed for being polite with them. Would have liked to avoided that whole situation and not be out a quarter and $100 extra, but I'll take that over being in jail at least 15 days in a heartbeat. Been there done that, never going back there again.
