Just became legal

After 36 years of breaking the law, I am now legal in my state to smoke and grow pot. I don't know whether to be happy or disgusted.

No doubt. I actually have to be more careful. I can only have 2 1/2 ozs. of "usable" weed. Still the golden rule remains: Tell no one.

Tell no one? To get certified, aren't you on their record now as a "legitimate" grower? What are your guys' (you, asg) medical conditions anyway? Not that it's my business, but if I ever move to Cali, I want to know what to say.

i dont think you would need excuses. im not trying to be a dick, but by your posts on your medical history that you had here, you would qualify.

fuckin new york. wish we would pass something like this. would be nice to have that little bit of mental security with the license (even tho federally, it really doesnt matter). i guess decrim is better than states with mandatory minimum and no decrim at all.

Just because I'm legitimate doesn't mean it's common knowledge. Not telling anyone you grow isn't only to keep the law off your ass.

No, you're not "on record". The only people who know I have a recommendation are my Dr. and my wellness center. Of course I"m legitimate...and if ever asked, I'll provide my recommendation. Get it?

Not always, it also depends on what part of the state your in. You can't walk in and be all, "i've got this killer hang nail..."

Is it easy? I suppose so. It'll also cost you some $$...unless you're like me and my family dr. does recommendations...th en I just pay my co pay.

sorry i didnt mean that to take away from the legitamacy of people who actually need medbud. i just mean that if you cant come up with something convincing on your own it might not be a good idea to try.

also, does insurance cover the medicine?

Also, states differ GREATLY in how MMJ is run and regulated. California is the most liberal with it from what I understand, has the most dispenseries, etc. How it goes down in other states, I have no idea. I do know every state is very different, it's super important to know your guidelines and stay within them.

Grieves has it though, no matter where...discretion discretion discretion.
