Using a fan quickens the process a tad. I never really hung my plant upside down for resin flow, moreso for continued manicuring. They seem easier to get at hanging upside down plus there is room to tie the plant without damaging any of the bud . Usually I just leave the biggest buds on the plant and dry the rest on newspaper although I like the screen idea better, you don't have to continuously turn the bud.

Anyway, I'm flattered you used my drying process as a starting point. To be honest, I just use what I've learned from here the last 5 years whenever I give advice. And I would always defer to someone like Veda who is much more experienced than me judging by her posts.

ok ASG, here you go :

1) dont dry em too fast! No fans, heaters, ovens, etc. Unless you want to ruin your herb (harsh taste)

2) temps should be around 18-20C optimally and RH 30%

3) darkness is needed in the room otherwise you loose THC

personally i trim the plant and manicure the buds while the plant is still in the pot. Then i chop, shake it a little bit so tiny pieces of leaf fall off, then i hang the whole plant for a coupla weeks in a dark, dry, cool place.

It will take at least 2-3 weeks. If u cut the branches and hang each bud individually, it will dry quicker. up to u.

When the stems "snap" (when u break a bud with your fingers) then the are ready to be jared. For another 2-3 weeks "burp" the jars regularly and every day. Move the buds in there and always check for mold (just in case).

In a month you should have some nicely cured buds. In 4-5 months you ll have some bad ass buds.

i wouldn't be using a trichome close up to determine harvest
i think 6wks of flower in the outdoors is asking a bit much
the plant moves into harvest windows when outdoors
then goes back into a veg state
it's mostly to do with the moon, and astrology, imo
i'm sorry i wasnt here to offer my opinion earlier
congrats on a successful harvest
i'm sure it will kickass

*update*

Harvest went really, really well. I def. think she was ready. I'm also glad for the day I chose for harvest because that night, we got our first frost. Looking at the buds, the feel of them, the looks of the rest of the plant, definitely ready!

Yes! It was a GREAT harvest! I took pics...before after, etc. I'll post them when I get a few spare minutes.

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped out, commented and gave advice. I very, very much appreciate it!!
