Do you guys keep a mother plant in a seperate grow box with 24/7 lighting or how does that work? I thought of starting 5, and keeping the biggest healthiest one as my mother plant. My California Dream seeds just arrived this morning, I'm excited.

It'll be a while before I start growing though, finances became an issue this month. Im getting double billed on my car insurance and my health insurance company is trying to hit me up for $1200 as "my" part of the bill. No one tells your insurance will cover this, but it won't cover that.

Another question, I bought 10 feminized Cali Dream seeds, and recieved 20 free in a seperate bag. Do they just give you 20 random seeds or what. IMO they look identical to the Cali seeds, maybe just not feminized? I got them from amsterdammarijuanase eds.com.

I've bought feminized seeds from a few different places and the freebies weren't feminized. I don't know if you plan on using a mother from your fem seeds but from what I've heard, it's not a good idea. Hermies.

Were the freebies you got the same strain as the ones you ordered? Cause if thats the case I'll use one of the non-fem seeds as a mother.

I don't even know. I never tried any of them. I grow 1 plant at a time and I want to be sure it's a female so I only use the fem seeds.
